We are going on a family trip from Raleigh, NC up through central Virginia to D.C. and Baltimore. Are there any good toy soldier shops in those places? Particularly for King and Country, but others as well.

If you go a little further north to Gettysburg there are 3 shops in Gettysburg.
Antique Center of Gettysburg
Tarbox Toy Soldiers
Gettysburg Miniature Soldiers

a nice place to visit if you get the chance.

Thanks. I went to several in Gettysburg last summer. They do have some great shops there, and my wallet would be even lighter if I lived in the area! As it is, I do get up there about every 3 years.

There is a shop at the Fredericksburg Battlefield. It is right across the street from the museum. The front part of the store is mainly Civil War artifacts, but the back half is full of display cases of K & C, Frontline - Nap, CW, AWI, WWII, etc .

I was there about 2-3 years ago, I think it is called Lee's Headquarters.
It is a great store.

I am fortunate that it is not far from where I live. I try and go at least once a month. Yes I have noticed my wallet is always lighter on the drive home:D

Please visit the Antique Center of Gettysburg, 30 Baltimore Street (1/2 block off the Square) in downtown Gettysburg, PA. One of the biggest selections on display anywhere around. Most major makers, lots of others, some old, lots of retired and sold out items. Also plenty of military books and limited edition art prints. You won't be sorry.
Thanks

I second Stan. The Antique Center devotes a huge portion of it's space to toy soldiers and the display there of. There is glass case after case with literally hundreds of soldiers of all makes and time periods on display. Best TS stop in the VA-MD-PA area, by far. -- lancer

I met the three folks at the stores in Gettysberg the week of August 6th this year........Very nice people.....Enjoyed my visit with all three.......even traded some buildings for K&C product.....
I will go back as I am making a Civil War cabin for one of them....
Regards,
Canucks:)

Perfect. I was planning to make a stop at that part of the Fredericksburg battlefield on the way home. I know the store you are talking about but haven't been in it. I just saw today on the K&C site that it is a dealer. Thanks!

When are you going to be in DC ?

Be glad to get with you !

I will be in Washington Sept 20-22. We will kind of be all over the place hitting places we have never been or the kids have never been. I saw there is a nice looking toy soldier store in the capitol area but with unpredictable hours.
