I was nearly having a cow (to put it mildly) when I turned on Fox Soccer Channel to watch Man U and Chelsea and all I saw was some French League match.

I then went to the BBC and saw that all the matches were postponed for "safety reasons." Is that because of the weather?

Yes it is Brad , witch team do you support ?

Matches off, major airports shut and Motorways at standstill, we don't handle snow too well over here I'm afraid!

What a farce Health and safety is one game in league one yesterday at Exeter and three for my soccer super six. surely grit on the stands and around the grounds can pacify this crazy culture.

It looks like more may be cancelled if the snow etc continues on this week boxing day fixtures are already being looked at.

Christmas without football very strange. Going to be some fixture congestion with several competitions going on at the same time

I don't know how Russia and Scandanavia cope with worse conditions and lower temperatures???
Mitch

Arsenal actually but Man U and Chelsea would have been a good match.

Rob,

I don't think many of us do :)

Cheers,

You're probably right Brad. Must say there are some beautiful scenic views out there right now, its just getting to them that is difficult.

Some things you hear really Beggar belief. Did you see the other day that some farmers that had been using their tractors and equip to help clear country lanes of snow have been threatened with prosecution because their vehicles use Red Diesel and they are not licensed to use it on public roads...so they'd rather have the roads blocked then??. Give me strength.

Rob

I had not heard that its remarkable though, it never ceases to amaze me I did think that they were allowed on public roads so long as they are travelling from field to field or farm etc.

These buffoons are ruining our country

I heard it becuase I happened to be watching Prime Ministers questions and an MP stood up and said they had to put this right straight away as the decent farmers were going out in atrocious conditions to try and help people and are under threat of being done for it!.

Jaw dropping absurdity.
