...then the arrival of the mixed Irish Picquets...those that managed to get by the Royal Navy...

...and together they make for a fine looking line-up (anyone for "The Lilies & The Thistle")

....the Irish Picquets then find themselves alone, facing the rumble of charging Dragoons...

...it takes a lot of nerve not to turn away when this close to the 10th Dragoons!

...and any survivors of the charge will then find themselves facing the Grenadiers of the 4th Regt of Foot "Barrell's"....as they proudly fly the Colours to declare their presence on the battlefield...

Wonderful collection. Have a few of this range and have always enjoyed their dynamic poses and the colorful display of the charging Scots. Had never seen the cavalry figures. Stunning miniatures!

This is the first time I looked at this thread and as Egon noted, you have a wonderful collection.

Wonderful display. When I first saw TA's figures I thought to buy them as castings and paint them myself(I prefer matt figures). But time constraints and doubts about my ability to handle painting tartan put me off. Then JJD's series came out and I went that way.A great collection.

Absolutely lovely. Tommy Atkins used to be our 2nd favorite thing to buy after Trophy around the turn of the millennium. After 2 dozen years of collecting our truncated budget is mostly spent on figures from China now, but it would be great to get some more Trophy or Tommy Atkins or Aeroart. Always beautiful even without the nostalgia boost!
Just as a selfish question: does Tommy Atkins still take orders? We got some Rogers Rangers in 2013 & that was the last time we dealt with them. If they do, their stuff is relatively inexpensive these days! Check out the site if they take orders; even shipping to US isn't bad conidering the GBP to USD situation.
Thanks & Great Collection & Happy Collecting,

Well-painted tartans are essential to most Scottish collections! We have JJD's Jacobites but TA's French-Indian War as a compromise. Tartans require intricate detail but at least it's a pattern (not that either of us can paint anything more complicated than a 1-1 scale fence or wall:p).
Anyway, the people who paint Atkin's castings/sculpts are top "toy" quality. Wish I could go to the London show to see them!

Decided to sell the group of TA figures I have of Culloden. You can find some images in the FOR SALE section of this forum...
