5 votes for the Rifles so far, I love it.:cool:

I must have missed some of the threads, although I know they are a must-have for Bill.

Will those who hanker for the 95th Rifles care to elaborate on this choice? :eek:

Well here is the first reply that comes to my mind.;):p:D

I will try and limit myself to the Napoleonic line and the Battles so far being offered by First Legion .
Waterloo..........
1. A mounted Blücher figure :) this is my most wanted figure . I would also like as part of a staff set at least Gnsisenau ;)
2. Prussian Lanwehr Infantry ..Neumärk ,Pommeranian or Silesian any or all are most needed as part of Bülows 4th Army at Waterloo :)
3.Prussian Artillery
4.Prussian Cavalry , Uhlan , Hussar , or Dragoons I would buy them all.
5.the Brunswick Line Infantry and the Brunswick Advance Guard Jaegers , seems I have been drooling over these for ages :D

Borodino ..............
1. Saxon Cavalry .. The Zastrow Cuirassiers
2. Bavarian Cavalry .. Chevau-Legers
3. Polish Line and light Infantry .. Voltigeurs , Fusiliers ,Grenadiers
4.The Italian Guard Division of General Lecchi . The Uniforms are just beautiful IMO :)
5.French Imperial Guard Engineers . Always loved those Helmets

I could go on and on but I will hold myself to five ;) I know my choices are not the norm but to me that's what First Legion are all about . They not only do the usual units you'd expect they also do the others that deserve to be done and are ignored by most . I think I would by all of Franks Stalingrad wish list and also think that Soviet Naval Infantry are a Great Idea . The Crusaders have pulled me into my third First Legion line and I look forward to see how this line will develop . First Legion have rejuvenated my interest in this hobby of ours and I now look forward to years of being broke and Happy . :D All the best Gebhard

The 95th was an elite unit of skirmishers with a unique uniform in the British Army. That would be reason enough for me, but I would also add that as with any skirmishers, (Voltigeurs, Jagers or Rifles) you can make great dioramas with fewer figures. Also it was the Richard Sharpe series that interested me in the Napoleonic armies.
You could even use a King and Country Rifleman sergeant in the mix for Patrick Harper! We would still need French Dragoons for the best dioramas.:D

Gebhard i take back my 5 to go with urs
Exellent idea
FL has to add to the Prussians
Good thinking about Blucher
The Prussians turned the tide of the battle
when they arrived at Waterloo
So there should be more of them infantry
cavalry and artillery
U got my vote

Great explanation mate but I don't think you need worry that when they do this line they will leave us without a good sergeant.;):cool:

Valid reasons, indeed :cool::D

1. Napoleon on Marengo;
2. Blucher mounted figure;
3. 95th rifles or alternatively KGL;
4. French young guard;
5. Saracens and teutonic knights for the crusades range.

This could go on and on but I am absolutely sure that whatever Matt decides to bring us it'll be stunning as usual:p... Nice thread for all of us dreamers;)...

All for the Stalingrad line

  1. Sd.Kfz.251/1 with a variety of optional Panzergrenadiers (riding, fighting from the vehicle, dismounted)
  2. MG Teams (German and Soviet). Both light and heavy MG34 configurations, Maxim-Tokarev M1910/30, Degtyarev DP light MG
  3. Snipers (German and Soviet).
  4. Mortar Teams (German and Soviet).
  5. T-34 Stalingradzkiy Traktornyj Zawod (STZ) production

This list is perfect Frank... I would like to see these additions as well.

Thanks guys ;) I sure hope all of my wish list will in time be released by First Legion :) they could do such a Great job of bringing these units to life and they really deserve to be IMO . I really have a list of about 50 or more units I'd like to see done but I tried to show some discipline :eek: . I don't know how you guys feel but for me it really is exciting to be a Napoleonic collector with First legion doing what they are doing . All the best Gebhard

List of 50 or more units - that's a lot of serious money involved here :eek:

And the space to display all that - you gonna have a one-of-a-kind Napoleonic museum. :cool:

I'm in it for the long haul;) if I looked at how much it would cost me over the next 20 years I may not do it .. But that is what building a nice collection is all about.... its a labor of love :)
I only display about 200 hundred or so figures at a time in my War Room otherwise they overpower the room and it looks more like a toy shop . All the best Gebhard
