Hi Dave,

Yes issue 40 of TSC has been published. I got my subscription copy nearly a week ago now. I must admit though I have not seen it in the newsagents as yet, but it should definitely be available by now.

Regards

Martin

Dave,

mine arrived yesterday and thats to Australia, and its another wonderful production, as always,

John

Do any of you gentlemen have some of the issues from the 1990's? I found one really great article about Heco Tinplate Models (I think in issue #19) and was wondering if there were any other articles about Heco, or even advertisements (I'm always looking for more photos of Heco models, as there are literally dozens of items I have catalogue numbers for that I have never seen in person or in photographs. Any information about Heco in the older issues would be greatly appreciated.:smile2:

Louis,

I have the whole set from #1, but I don't think it goes back that far, starting in 2005.

Do you mean Toy Soldier and Model Figure Magazine, as I have them from #15 to #130 and they are from the late 1990's

John

Cheers Guys

I will check the newsagent again, If its not there I will fold and prehaps subscribe. I do quite like getting it from the newsagents though.

Dave

Dave,
My copy arrived earlier this week here in the US. Might want to go ahead and subscribe and have it delivered right to your door. I think they do such a great job with the pictures in TSC.
Cheers,

John,

You are correct, the article is in Toy Soldier and Model Figure Magazine, Issue #19, August/September 1998. If you could post any other articles about Heco, or Heco advertisements in other Toy Soldier and Model Figure Magazines, I would appreciate it.:smile2:

Louis,

I'll check through the magazines thhis weekend, and see what I can find for you... that after doing some more repainting on Howard's Car :)

John,

Thanks for taking the time and effort for me.

I will be following the staff car thread with great interest. Looks like a terrific idea. I'm sure Howard will be thrilled.

I use a scanner for producing images of published material, not a camera.

By the way, what is the number/ date of thhis issue???

John

Obee, its TS&MF mag issue 19. It has the Heco red & white plane on the cover, as seen in my photo. I think it has WWI soldiers on the cover too.

Sorry about the pics, not very readable. I give up.

Thanks for the photos! Even if the article isn't legible, it is always great to see photos of variations of Heco Tinplate Models. I really appreciate you taking the time.:smile2:

The Fokker D7, splinter camouflaged DR1, and red and white Gee Bee Racer are really special variations! ^&cool^&cool Thanks again for the photos!:smile2:

I really appreciate you taking the time.
