thanks!

That's the original K&C "The West" Scout figure. I have the brochure it appears in (I think circa 1995 or 1996).

And the Maestro sinks the three!

It's in the February 1996 Supplement. There were two different sets and I suppose I should have recognized it because the sculpt for the horse is the same as for the glossy Roosevelt from the Rough Rider Series for Kings X.

Here's the description:

"Warriors of the Plains.

A classic western scene -- a dismounted Sioux warrior and his trusted pony scouting ahead of a raiding party. First of an exciting new series featuring the legendary horsemen of the American Plains in the period following the Civil War. And there's more on the way!"

Here's a link to the brochure, page two.

Well,
I owe you both a huge thank you, I had no idea and now I am estatic to know I found this one in the basement!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's the first one I've ever seen outside of the brochure. That has to be one of the rarest K&C matt figures.

I want to rummage in your basement!!! Nice find !

My wife would be happy to let you in while I am on business travel, I have to make sure no one ever finds out my phone number, it could be a disaster by the time I arrive home.............:D:D:D

Seriously, this is what is wild about this hobby, for as much as I think I know about makes and manufacturers, I am constantly amazed.
