Neil, if you talk to the company that covers your contents insurance, tell them roughly how much your collection is worth and then they can up your total cover to allow for it. You don't have to go to a specialised TS company for it and your own company could be cheaper.

Mine is also covered on my home contents but, I had to have an *****or out to the house before they would cover me. There are toy soldier insurers but, it all ends up with the same companies so ask at your bank or building society

It might be a good idea to document your collection, too, say, with a digital or tape video.
