Which magazine?

Toy Soldier Collector?

Toy Soldier and Model Figure?

Excellent, thanks for the heads up. The Winter Tiger ad sounds like another for the collection.

Dear "rekp":

Glad to see that you are now getting Toy Soldier & Model Figure (TS&MF) magazine. I got every glossy hardcopy issue since it came out in August 1995. The Current editor (Stuart A. Hessney of upstate New York, USA) took over as editor in November 2003 and has done a splendid job with the magazine. I would recommend this magazine to all toy soldier collectors! At some point I may also go to the Online version of TS&MF (iMAG) to save money and storage space. Enjoy TS&MF!

TS&MF is a first rate magazine and every serious collector will find it worth the subscription price.

At $110 per year this mag is fairly pricey

Yes that was my exact reason to give up buying this magazine.

I have from #17 up to about #135, but couldn't justify buying 2 magazines when Toy Soldier Collector was released.

TSM has only 6 editions per year, and is ALL toy soldiers, no model figures. I have been in regular correspondence with Mark Avery the co-editor since he edited TSMF Mag about 12 years ago and meet up with him at the Toy SOldier Shows in UK. I'm also in cinact with Stuart, but not as much recently.

Please don't think I'm biased to one mag or the other, as I've contibuted articles to both, but I'd rather spend the cash on toy soldiers, than another magazine, when now we can get loads of information on the internet, staight form the makers, but its great to recive other reviews, and see images of both new and old figures.

I think its a great magazine. Considering one afv is now $150 to $230, $9.00 a month for a mag with great pictures, printed on quality paper, is par for the course. Besides I look at this mag and my toy soldier brochures more than my soldiers.

Toy soldier mag is great a monthly treat to recieve it through the post. I don't really rate the TSC and have stopped getting that one having bought it from the start and did not really see all the need for the editorial conspiracy and deceptive actions that they took a while back.
Some great articles in the mag and as has been mentioned I got the I-mag subscription which was excellent
