I am visiting Eastern Europe in April

Anyone know nice and cheap toy soldiers (made in Eastern Europe) shops in Prague and Budapest?

Any websites/address available?

When I was last in Prague I found some soldiers in an Open Air Market near the center of town sort of a farmers market place. I never found any shops selling them there so if you do find something please let us know. As for Budapest I was only there for 4 days and that was spent running around the bars with some other guys from my unit. The beer was good and inexpensive and the sights were interesting...;)

I was there about 10 years ago and recall some of the market stalls just outside of Prague Castle were selling toy soldiers. The quality isn't great but they make nice souvenirs. Some of the local shops had a few.

"Bigger than it first appears, this shop stocks a variety of toys for children from the under threes to ten year olds. However, the window display of dinosaurs, knights and wild animals shows the shop's main speciality of plastic miniatures. The shop's front room stocks a wide range of miniature figures including animals, whales, dinosaurs, cowboys and Indians and knights. They are displayed in glass cabinets alongside all the necessary accessories like farm fencing, caves, ranches and zoo fences. The shop's back room has a selection of more conventional toys for both boys and girls including cars, dolls, jigsaws and cuddly toys."

"Curiously split into two halves with two separate entries the shop sells plastic model kits for airplanes and military hardware and cars. The shop has a rather dusty feel about it but it also has one of the best range of model kits in the city. The left-hand showroom stocks model airplanes from all ages, tanks, and warships as well as the accessories necessary to build them. It's neighbour specialises in cars and motorbikes. In addition to basic model kits it has a small section given over to radio control devices and cars."

Thanks guys for your help

I found this company
www.hannahminiatury.net in Czech Republic

unfortunately, I couldn't find any major distributor in Prague, their stocks only existed sporadically in gifts shop in Prague near the tourist areas.

They are not cheap, costs US$30 each (the price maybe lower with bargain)
And the quality seems subpar

I got a Czech soldier, jager look alike. They have some interesting subjects, like Jan Zizka in the Hussite wars

By comparison, seems like K&C and FL are doing much better in price and quality
