Oh, I understand, something similar to filing down burrs on plastic models, I assume?

Yes, basically anything that is produced in a mould will need some form of 'cleaning' before use.

I have ordered the castings, just playing the waiting game.

Just as an update. I phoned today to enquire about a delivery date and was told the set is being cast this saturday :( , so all things being equal (i.e. the postal service) should be with me the middle of next week. :)

I picked up the attached figure a couple of years back at the Dedham Show along with a few single figures by Trophy. Can anyone tell me who the maker is............The Lt.

I had this figure and then sold it. Got it off ebay as that unknown mfg...Michael
