Garum on rotting meat is one of the few dishes the Romans ate that I haven't tried (for Historical fun). It sounds awful.

Excellent work here creating this scene. Reminds me of a scene taken from a TV documentary series on Pompey when they are revealing a restaurant in their digs.

You certainly get to the nitty gritty of Roman life. Looks realistic all the way. Robin.
