I saw Transformers 4 today. It was actually really good. The CGI has come such a long way from the first one, the robots seem so real. :salute::

Only negative for me was that for the first time there was no Linkin Park song on the soundtrack. :(

Haven't see it yet, but looks like fun. Have seen the new Planet of the Apes movie though and it's great!^&grin

Sorry I did not enjoy it. Too much CGI, not enough character development. Too much happening all at once making it hard to take it all in and confusing. At over 2 hours, would have walked out, but stayed as my mate likes to get value for his ticket. He has the first 3 on DVD, but will not be getting this one, sort of tells you something. Interested to see what others think. Robin.

Robin:

Good points and I am sorry that you did not enjoy it.

I am on the opposite end of that spectrum. I like the fact that the focus was on the CGI and the character development was limited. I went to see robots beat up robots.

This is why I never pay attention to reviews. I saw it, and thought it was probably one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. I liked the first and third movies in the series. Wahlberg is a terrible actor. Just my opinion.
