I understand that TF unveiled a new line of their own ACW figures at OTSN. Did anyone take pictures of these? Are they being made by Honour Bound like the Shores of Tripoli series and then finished here in the states?

Hello Randy. ALthough I did not take any pictures of the ACW figures you refer to, I did take a close look at them. They are very well done and are hand painted by Compton Creel of the Jericho Toy Soldier Studio: creel@grandecom.net, 972-984-0135 (He was passing out business cards in the Treefrog room). I thought they looked a little small to put with my Wm. Britain matte ACW figures, however they did appear to be a nice match size-wise for the WB glossy sets, they were painted in matte though. Since they did look a little small I even asked the question if they were 1/35 scale. Hope this helps a little.

Randy,

Mandi told me these are Shenandoah Figures, painted by Jericho Studios, which is Compton Creel's company. They are somewhere between 1/32 and 1/35 scale apparently. The figures, boxes and other information are apparently not yet available. I don't know if anyone took photos. That's all the info I have.

Shenandoah figures are very nice. They are made by a company in Australia. You can by them painted or unpainted.Military Warehouse carries them but you can only buy them painted from them direct.I believe they are more true 1/32.

I'd have to agree that Shenadoah are nice figures, I'd even go as far as saying they are THE BEST looking figures of this era. Good thing is that they are sold as either kits, traditional toy of matt finshed panted figures, and you can see the whole range on the website http://www.shenandoahmin.com/

Another good thing for me, is they are Australian made, and so I can buy them easily straight from the maker, Paul Clarke in Melbourne. All of the figures are intergchangeable, all most heads will fit all bodies, and most arms too. He does some wonderful vignettes espcially the 6 figure sets charging.

If you want to see my painting, goto my civil war page too as I have used the figures in many different poses especailly using the highly individual heads to make a variety of figures, even a Rebel Band .
