The project is complete and a wonderful result courtesy of Mike DeMarco's son and facilitated by Brad (Jazzeum), thank you! Anyhow, these sets were originally issued in Union Blue, well, I could not have that as part of my collection! SO - "Save yo Confederate Money Boys, the South is Risin Again"!! Enjoy, just a fantastic result!

WOW - those came out great.
I didn't know his son painted too

A Confederate Santa?....................stop the world, I want to get off............................great work regardless.

Cmon George - Santa is universal even to the lowly Rebels!!!!!! I am just amazed how it came out. Honestly you know me at ability, my direction was a few simple words - Brad communicated it and the result honestly blew me away. It looks as if it came out of the factory. Even the other set of just the soldiers is crisp, clean and sharp. I cannot say enough praise on the painting. I sure wish I had the knack for it, but a wise man once told me, it is good to know your limitations and admit your faults!!

I'm glad you like it Tom. Mike and Mike Jr. will be very happy to hear that. Mike Jr. is a very talented painter. If you look at the stars on Santa, they are very precise. He's very good at painting that requires a lot of detail work.

Hahaha!!!!! you kill me Andreas! just made me laugh!

I apologize for hijacking the thread. It is amazing to me how easily the entities bringing gifts like Weihnachtsmann and Christkind were assimilated and the CHRISTMAS entities netting out corporal punishment (Knecht Ruprecht) or, worse, direct taking (Krampus) were not. Clearly a defect in child rearing of nations way to forgiving of poor behavior. :)
