A big welcome to samuel08! The Treefrog Forum has now reached 1000 members! :D:D:D

People have been asking what the prize would be for being the 1000th member. I have been thinking this over and would like to put an idea to the members.

What would you think about Treefrogger t-shirts? Members could submit design ideas, people could vote for color and design and the forum could have its own official t-shirt! They would be available for sale (if people preordered we could make sure to have the exact size each interested member would need) and then we could honor samuel08 with the first Treefrogger t-shirt as the prize for being the 1000th member.

Please give me some feedback on this t-shirt idea and be sure to give samuel08 a hearty Treefrogger welcome!

Best regards,

Great idea, Shannon!! I'll get multiples. Get some XXXXXXXXXL for Hairy Harry as well. I'm sure we can get some ideas going for graphics on a BLACK T-shirt. I'm allergic to white t-shirts. Mike

We are not T-Shirt Collectors here - We are TOY SOLDIER COLLECTORS !

Come on - give up some metal for the man !

:D :D :D

JUST KIDDING :p

I like the T-Shirt Idea ! Count me in.

Wow! 1,000 members. Welcome Samuel08! By the way, I love the 999th Member's name.

I'll take a tee shirt, size XL.

How about a metal tree frog standing on his hind legs with a hand (front foot) in his vest;):D

Yo Trooperess, to my mind it should be the 1st member gets the honour, not some guy who came in late 999 after everyone else lol, only winners get prizes in my book. Like the T-shirt idea how about one with a Hussar on after all they were the cream.
Bernard.

Or how about some tight red Treefrog trousers?

I like the T-shirt idea, but it would depend on the design, with me. It's gotta be interesting, not librarianish. :D I might even try my hand at it.

I also like the t-shirt idea, but one must be carefull with the design.
Not to be sexist, but a treefrog borders on being a bit on the feminine side if you get my drift!
Gary

The T-Shirt is a good idea and while it should have "Treefrog Treasures" as a prominent writing on it, it should show what it is all about here, the Toy Soldier Hobby.
Currently Treefrog is representing quite a variety of manufacturers as well in the shop as on the forum, so a T-shirt with the logos of all of them printed on it in a random order, front and back, would point out very well for what we get together here.

Especially if you put it in tight red trousers as MD suggested

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome to the forum, but I do hate to burst your bubble, I'm not a guy :). I am one of the only females on this site I believe except for Shannon. I have gotten a kick out of reading all of your posts over the last year almost and decided it was time to join myself. Thanks again & happy posting!

Beth,
Great to have you on the forum! What are your interests?(Also, vote yes for a T-Shirt):) Mike

Welcome Beth.

I think adding the manufactuer logos would be a bit too limiting unless you want to add everyone represented on the forum; there are others manufacturers not currently sold by TF that some of us collect afterall.;) Besides, what is carried can certainly change from time to time.

Welcome to the forum Beth,

There are a couple of other members of the fairer sex here (and one or two old women :D) and it's nice to see another join. What sort of figures do you collect? My wife doesn't participate on the forum but over the last few years has collected a nice little display from K&C's Streets of Old Hong Kong range.

Regards

Jeff

Jeff,

I'm debating on which to start collecting now. I was thinking about the K&C Revolutionary or the Crusades. I haven't decided yet, but right now we have some K&C WWII and K&C Civil War.

My T-shirt idea was just meant to be giving an idea what it is about, the Toy Soldier Hobby. So there would be the dealer (TF) and then just a good number, 10, 12 or 15 of manufacturers. Not to serve as an individual statement of collecting but just to show that this person is participating in the Toy Soldier World.
After all the T-shirt should not be custom made but be a release of Treefrog Treasures.
