While I am not able to visit the Chicago Show this year, I would like to point out how much of a great feature the Treefrog Hospitality room is. The two floors reserved by the Hotel for the room trading is a huge area you can walk and discover, starting after breakfast wednesday morning and going on 'til saturday evening, where all the dealers are up for hard night's work to get everything set up in the bottom floors for the main event on sunday.
If you are one of the Toy Soldier enthusiasts coming for the room trading, you will find yourself walking the hallways of both floors again and again and again. The majority of the rooms you will enter are filled up to the max with wonderful products, all related to the great hobby we enjoy so much.
The space provided by our fine hosts, Shannon and Pete, is a very rare opportunity to sit down for a while, have a cup of coffee, and get a rest. In addition, chances are that you will find fellow treefrogers at any time to have a little chat with.
Shannon and Pete do have a variety of their products on display and for sale of course, but limiting their display area and providing the space and comfort for the "tired" ones is an effort that does deserve some recognition.
I sure was very happy last year to know a place where to go and get some rest during many hours of walking the floors and when any of you visitors this year have the same experience, let it be known here.
Enjoy the Show!
