I have to admit i have a weakness when seeing what figures are released in the Trojan wars series, there is one figure i am really wanting to be released! it is an ache 'which is afoot' and i am 'down at heel' about it. If only there was a phrase to explain what this is in me................

Great new range.

I think this is the JJ Version below, it does look excellent. Everyone talks about Achilles and his weak spot, when his mother dipped him in the river, holding him by his heel and that is his only weak spot. But very few people mention his lesser-known brother, Testiclles, that must have hurt when his mother dipped in the river, but then that place is a weakness for all moral men.……………

I kind of like that JJD has started from scratch and not gone with the looks used by movies. Must be a lot of fun to have complete artistic license in such a range.

Totally agree with you at this point.

This is by far my favorite range. No one else has done justice to the Trojan War. My only constructive criticism is that it would be nice to have some of the figures/sets portray specific events from the Iliad. Hopefully John gives some consideration to doing a Homer figure since he gets the credit for bringing all these personalities to life.

Swore the field off.
Oh- but now just gonna get the Chariots.
At least.

Nice job JJD.
Fur Trade is too cool. Very original sets.
ALL of your other range are,... very cool. At least.
Wow John. Nice job. Kudos to those who can keep up with the releases!

When you have to choose from so many beautiful things, and can never get them all, then you feel like a kid in a candy store (or Vaughns in Chicago when Dad was a kid). That is a heady, joyous feeling.

BTW Dad met up with a very old friend and he saw & loves our collection. He is bit of a History fan & has been to many Holocaust sites/monuments/camps and (mainly French/German/Polish) Battlefields. He liked Normandy best.
Side-note: His Dad was was a Sgt. @ D-Day. He saw Saving Pvt. Ryan w/Dad's buddy. His only comments were: "We would never have done that" (when they let the Nazi go free) & "They got that right" about all of the squeaking gears when the Germans came. He said they were out of oil (grease).

Anyway Best of the Best to All & Happy Collecting!
Paddy
