Absolutely beautiful. Some years back, I once owned some 35 Trophy sets, mostly Zulu and Napoleonic, with a mix of Sudan, Afghan, and ACW..I was buying from a big time Trophy dealer, named Rich something or other, out of Maryland ( used to have a shop in Gettysburg ) I saw these ships at a show, but even then the costs were outside my pay grade. How cheap, those original prices seem now. Ebay was my downfall and when I think how little I got for them, makes me wistful, even now. In tough times, we think we have to stop playing with toys, sell off our joys and start acting like men. But it is our toys that allow us to take refuge, from the daily pressures that try to convince us that we will be overwhelmed. My family ,even in the most dire times, always could afford to buy me a bag of plastic soldiers. Somehow we survived, with my childhood memories intact...Michael

I see the Eagle has landed Damian she's a beauty. Seems like Len used the same hores throughout all of his lines. Nice batch of Union Calvary you have in hand by Lad. Now if they were Rebel Calvary you'd have to keep them hidden from the UKReb otherwise he might go one the hunt and starting collecting glossies ........The Lt.

Damian,
I love that Ack-Ack Truck! You are spoiling us with these sets! And I realy like the ground base for the Tommy sitting down. Viva La Trophy!
Mike

Damian is that not the Britains truck? Looks remarkably similar?

Yeah, I think he tried to pull a fast one on us. He owns a Trophy stamp and he just imprints everything to make his collection bigger..Next ,it will be his rare Trophy toaster..:DMichael

I am shocked and dismayed that a gentleman of his caliber would stoop to this level in order to brighten my day. And I thought (Assu me d) that evrything I was looking at was Trophy. Talk about bait-and-switch . Bad Gypsy! Give us back that TM stamp!
