Great! Thank you for sharing the photos of His Highness, the Holy Grail — 'The Lion'.

Here is my set of Dr Watson at Maiwand + the box

Len told me that Bobbie the Dog was not included in the first run of 6 sets which went to the US and he was added to only three in the second run of six Dr Watson sets.

According to Len approx 18 sets were made in total. The first 6 had no box or dog, the second six had boxes but only three had Bobbie and the last 6 had boxes but no Bobbie. By the way Len wrote the set description on the outside of each of the twelve boxed sets.

Cheers

Martyn :)

I wonder, what variations somebody else might have. Please post the photos. I know that Tom has one. :)

Amazing Martyn! One set I knew about because of Tom Dubel, but that I can only dream of finding.

I believe this is a photo of the Steam Traction Engine with the wood cutting attachment (I remember seeing it in an auction about 20 years ago, but even Martyn couldn't confirm its existence):

I can not see, wood-cutting attachment, just a green trailer with wood, but see the photo enclosed .

It's just the tractor, the driver and the green boat on a hitch with some chopped up wood in it. It never had a box, got it on eBay about 20 years ago.
Great collections guys! We hope to show a little more later.
Best Wishes
