This is a set that may have been from the Egyptian Wars (EW) 1882 series which predated the Egypt and Sudan series. It is a set of the ROYAL IRISH REGIMENT advancing with an officer and five privates. It comes in a Trophy box, but does not have its descriptive box-end label, so I don't know exactly what set it is suppose to be. The Egyptian War series included set no. EW7 THE ROYAL IRISH which was, more or less, an "at the ready" set. The set is posed on the Trophy box, with an early label, that they came in. This rarely seen set is $150 plus shipping.
