Trophys at Valley Forge show (1 Viewer)

Very funny. The dealer had a lot of Trophy. However, when I left he still had a lot. I paid him a visit as I was getting ready to leave and it was only then that I discovered the Dynamite Gun that had been there all along. There was enoughTrophy to go around for anyone who wanted any. Mind you, this is not the norm.

I would be lying if I almost did not call the place Saturday to see about the ACW Eagle...When I got the OK to look at Metal Shed's boats from my wife, the Eagle looked like more bang for the buck in size and figures. Would also be a nice display with Sudan figures and guns...I looked hard at his table Friday, and wanted so badly to get back into Trophy, but to buy at today's prices to replace what I used to own, does give one ,pause..Michael

The prices can be daunting and you have to be picky. My theory is everything eventually shows up. I never thought I would get the Dynamite Gun and now I have it. Same for the Indian Mutiny pieces I picked up. Think I mentioned this but it was like sensory overload. Even in my early days when I was chasing retired K & C I never saw anything like this and may never again.

all those trophy sets, sounds like one of my daydreams. was there anything in the way of napoleonics?
