This is another one of your threads that almost takes on a life of its own.
Starting with a simple but effective photo of a toy soldier it then goes into literature, beautiful illustrations, social and historical details and insights, with some excellent discussions and contributions from other menbers of the forum.
Personally speaking, I absolutely love this kind of thread. Its interesting, educational, and attracts intelligent comments, and unfortunately those three don't always go together.
Thanks for this. I look forward to further contributions.
