I will try to pick up some Tsingtao for this weekend. A group of my friends will be going to the NASCAR race this weekend at the Chicagoland Speedway.
We will be tailgating on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I will tell everyone it is really a German beer.

This is a GREAT FORUM, I joined to get info on Toy Soldiers and I get recommendations on beer. I wish I would have joined earlier.

It's very, very, similar to German beer for obvious reasons. Bit too heavy for me - although that doesn't stop me drinking the stuff if I can't get my hands on anything else.
Another good Asian beer is Ashil - made in Japan.
Beijing beer is pretty good as well - that's the name of it, "Beijing Beer". There'll be a lot of it sunk next month, no doubt.
San Miguel - made in the Philippines is okay.
As is Tiger - made in Singapore
As is that stuff I got in India whose name escapes me right now. Kingfisher - that's the name of it.

Och - it's all pretty good..!!
Still can't beat a good pint of Guiness though.
