Just saw the new teaser pictures up on the TSSD site. Looks like they'll be available for purchase around OTSN.

They look awesome.

The posing of the prone rifleman appears to be with the rifle pointing slightly down. I think the figure will be outstanding for both Custer Hill, shooting over a dead horse, or at the Reno/Benteen defense site.

The teaser pictures of the Indian casualties also look awesome.

I'm really looking forward to see them all.

The lack of bases is outstanding!!! I think these figures are going to be a goldmine for conversions and add tremendously to the realism of depictions of the "take no prisoners" style of the Plains Wars.

The Reno Hill terrain piece is also something I'll be buying. The Reno/Benteen defense site was one of the most intriguing parts of my visit to Little Bighorn National Monument and one of the aspects in the history of the events that is infrequently told (especially considering the 24 Medals of Honor awarded).

Waiting to see what TSSD is coming up with next has become a source of real fun for me.

The problem is that he isn't quite Civil War and he isn't quite Indian Wars. CW and Custer era "buffs" will pick them apart if all the figures are like the example. I see HEAVY conversion work to do either period.

The Cavalry shell jacket is a stretch in June 1876 as is the Sharps carbine. (unless that's a 45-70 carbine) The non-regulation knife, no sword, and no carbine sling is a stretch for Civil War. The Jacket is Federal issue and doesn't fit for CSA.

TSSD is like a beautiful woman who has a bad habit!

I saw the Prototypes for these new toy Cavalry Soldiers.
They are another solid squad to set up in my firing line.

The total of Cavalry figures must be around 20 poses, excluding Conversions.
