TSSD - new plastic figure mini-set pics up (1 Viewer)

I had the opportunity to see these guys in person this past week.
They are really awesome, especially the Germans.
They will look great defending the western front.

I hope they do a couple more Plains Indians. Specifically ones with warbonnets. There's a real need there. BTW, some of the Plains Indians are actually men of the Crow tribe by their hairstyles, (the guys with the standing-up forelocks: Set 13:thrusting spear; Set 14: standing firing rifle and shot aiming pistol) which is odd because the only Crows at Little Big Horn were on Custer's side.

Nice to know that in your given post.I am new to this forum so I don't have an idea of the TSSD lines of figures with these mini-sets image. It is so good.I like it.I want to get more information about this TSSD images. So any one can help me?

Basically what Nick at TSSD is doing is to have some limited edition figures made in resin to expand his previous WW2 sets. The figures are based on custom conversions of his current figures, so sizes will match well. The photos shown here and on the TSSD website are of the original conversions.

The first set of Germans is supposed to be in production. This is a leaning experience all around, so there may be changes made as the project continues.

These plastic soldiers are really nice. I am seeing something very new and good. Can i get it online?

Unfortunately, these aren't available at this time. I don't think that I am violating any confidences by telling at least part of the story. Nick paid me to create some customized figures using TSSD parts to expand some of the earlier ranges. The intention was to try and reproduce these in resin as limited edition add-ons. Unfortunately the converted figures did not lend themselves to be cast in one piece. Further unfortunate, many collectors don't like multi-piece figures that they have to assemble, so as far as I am aware the project is on hiatus. I think that it was bold of Nick to look into other media and to explore alternate mens of getting us new figures at reasonable prices. He sure is a gentleman to work with!

If such modified figures are desired there are a number of us who do conversions, Denver, Scott, myself and Gary Dutko, plus others. Prices vary with the difficulty of the project and the availability of parts. Look at some of the photo galleries to see what has been done in the past.

Gary,

I have a set of those Germans done in resin. Really great conversions, excellent job!! Might as well have been brand new figures. It was too bad that they did not continue.
