Go to TSSD,s site for a picture of one of the new German figures in the soon to be released Set #11. Late war German Elite troops.
Go to coming attractions.
Looks to be one of their best sets ever. How can you go wrong doing Germans!

The sniper looks nicely done. Like the option of seperate weapons as well. Thanks for the heads up Gary.

I,ve known for a week what the set was, didn,t see any pictures until the one today, but the figure pictured wearing a zehla whatever, looks like it can be used with the Stalingrad Germans and with Contes.
Hopeing the remaining figures also are wearing a colder weather type uniform.

I bought the Long coat germans. Painted already. I will detail them out.
 
Just a note to insure everyone knows the new TSSD guys are a figure set of 8 figs with two surprises in them rather than a playset.

Here goes. Hold your breath. In addition to 6 infantry (a panzerfaust shooter, MP44 shooter, standing sniper with a Gewerh rifle and scope, kneeling schmiesher [sp?] guy, and kneeling two man machine gun team with ammo belt and ammo can), there will also be two MOUNTED Germans!!!! One will be an officer/NCO in soft cap with a luger, schmieser, and binocs and the second will be a trooper with a rifle and helmet. Whooo hooo!!! The total figure set consists of 12 infantry altogether along with the two mounted guys for $23.00, reflecting increasing costs in China. Hey, to my way of thinking, a $3 raise after several years ain't a bad deal. Thanks Nick and other manufacturers for holding costs level for as long as you have.

The initial figure pictured on TSSD's website (Mr. sniper) looks like he's standard high quality TSSD production, meaning, for me, great animation, detailing, and sculpting. The machine gun team and mounted guys are gonna blow my mind, I'm sure. What a fantastic addition to WWII German troops.

Thanks Dick for the update on new SD Germans. I still have not finished working on the Japanese and Marines. I see Italeri is releasing 1/32 German and Russian anti-tank gun sets. I painted the Italeri Russians and they are not as bulky has SD Russians. Italeri is ok on height but look a little smaller. The gun sets will have crews. John

Where can one see pictures of this. The TSSD website though simple, it can be hard to find specific items

Yeah that is what I noticed as well. Sounds like a great set. I like to see before I buy. I would like to see the mounted stuff as well.

These look very compatable with the Conte WWII sets in terms of their style.

KVC: Nice work on the figures. I wish Italeri figures were a little more bulky. They are coming out with German and Russian anti-tank gun sets. Also a Napoleonic supply wagon and more 1/32 scale figure sets. John

Leadman, I got those Russian & German Italeri gun sets. Yes the figures are smaller than TSSD, but not so small that they won,t work together.

Yes> Thanks Gary> I noticed the female Russian Sniper from SD soldiers is larger then the Italeri sniper figure. I see this model store has 1/18 scale 21st century stuff and some figures on sale. I might order the Japanese guys to go with the Marines. John
