Mr. Moderator...you'd might as well move my other TSSD post here to. I painted them as well.

Nice conversions and painting Scott! I could see those guys sitting down with some playing cards in there hands made from small pieces of cardboard or some plastic stock with some fine detail of some harts or spades ect painted on them and those other guys playing a game of craps shooting dice along side them in a nice camp scene??? Maybe a few guys carrying stuff like fire wood boxes clothes ect. Lots can be done for a camp scene.
Keep chopping:cool: and the conversions look 10 times better all painted up!
Looking good, now you need to do some ground work for a nice mini diorama.:)

I have a few more seated figures that I was going to do as Confederates but a card dame sounds good. I really don't want to do horribly wounded figures but a few hurt men tell the story.

I'm painting a camp fire right now.

I'd like to keep the separate from a base as the metal collectors do with their figures. Maybe I'll get some ground mat to display them on.

Hi Scott
Your Painting Is Really Great.
The Hair and Faces Are Vivid.
What Color Do You Paint Their Lips ?
Now, I Must Repaint My Newest Guys.
Thank You

Colors are out of the bottle Folk Art acrylics or a mixture if "flesh" and "red." I have to work on the eyes as everyone looks too surprised.
