Not sure if this has been brought up before.
Just a thought. Taking the future Sherman Firefly as an example:D. How much of a production problem would it be to have say half a run of Shermans with one turret/hull ID # and the other half with a different one? This would fill the wants of those of us who like to display multiple tanks of the same design in the same diorama. Wondering if there would be any interest in this kind of thing among forumites. Perhaps those who normally buy one of a vehicle might then buy two. Would production costs or painting problems make this kind of thing prohibitive?

An excellent idea, andy should take heed of this fine suggestion

Subject has been brought up a couple of times. It is still an excellent idea. -- lancer

As someone who collects multiples the issue of some small variation to differentiate the tanks or artillery pieces is something that I would appreciate. That being said I'm just not sure enough people collect multiples of a $150-$180 tank or artillery piece to make it cost effective for the producers. I thought Andy's different stowage on the classic Sherman was a great idea. I mixed one of the TCs from a different allied armor set and now the the two classic Sherman's I currently have look reasonably different.
