Two little Fiat CR-32 (3 Viewers)

The Fiat CR-32 Regia Aeronautica 163-10 was one flown by Captain Mario D’Agostini, 163rd Squadron, based at in Rhodes-Marizza airport in 1940

Captain Mario D’Agostini was killed during an attack on Tobruk on June 15th 1942, aged 28. Flying a Macchi M.C.200 “Saetta” or “Lightning”.
He was posthumously awarded the Italian Gold Medal of Valour. While previously awarded a Silver Medal and a Bronze Medal for Military Valour,
the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Crown of Italy and the German Iron Cross Second Class.
The 2nd Stormo of the the Aeronautica Militare is named after him and is now based at Rivolto airport in the municipality of Codroipo, in the province of Udine.


The Fiat CR-32 3-51 Spanish War was the airplane of Joaquín García Morato y Castaño :

The top scoring Fiat CR.32 ace was Spanish Joaquín García Morato y Castaño.
He was the leading Nationalist fighter pilot of the Spanish Civil War.
He achieved 36 of his 41 victories flying the Fiat biplane.
He used, until his death, the same aircraft, which carried the number 3-51 on the fuselage.
On April 1939, while performing low aerobatics on his faithful 3-51, Morato crashed to his death
