If they became commercially available, I would prefer the 3000 dollar price tag. That is beyond what I could pay, but if it were 1000 dollars there would be that nagging sense that if I really wanted it I could have it.

The two earlier versions AIR052C (Pistol Packin' Mama) and AIR052D (Mickey Moocher) are still available on the K&C website.

From the first post the thread, I think the two newly featured Lancs are a special order. Perhaps, the Dam Buster version will be made available commercially as there is already a Guy Gibson figure.

Exquisite craftsmanship, remarkably beautiful pieces, cornerstone period RAF representations; however 1 piece proves somewhat cost prohibitive in my opinion, opposed to acquiring what equates to roughly 10 warbird pieces, just to match the $3,000 price point of one piece; therefore the ancillary pieces (trucks, ground crew and pilots) depicted in the vignette will go nicely with my Hurricanes, Spitfires and Typhoons...more possibilities for me to enjoy on the return of my investment!

Hi Guys,

One of our major European collectors loves AVRO LANCASTERS… He’s already got two and here’s the next two that just flew in for his collection… “S for SUGAR” and a beautiful “COASTAL COMMAND” white one, so that makes four in total with another, a “DAMBUSTER”, still to come.

I’ve already told him he doesn’t need a new hobby room he needs his own airfield (in 1:30 scale of course). Hope you like ‘em
