Why?

How much are you willing to pay for it?

Probably will cost $3,000+...if so, would you buy it at that amount?

Awesome idea, but practically, where could most collectors put a complete 1/30 scale U Boat? It would be around 7 feet long! I know someone who 3D printed a US Gato class submarine model in 1/32 scale and that was over 10 feet in length! He was also charging around $3,000 USD for the unbuilt Gato kit

I have a suggestion...how about half submerge, just when the subs re-charged their batteries? I would look more natural than a chopped bow and stern.

Maybe something like this.

How about just two additional sections, one front and one back to cap it off. Doesn't have to be 10' long but rather a shortened version.
Another option might be to add a few smaller sections in-between to extend it to however long one wants to make it.
