I really like your dioramas, you recreate a "world" in them: backdrop, sea, boat, men acting in connection with each other...

Tom I see you have got your models looking much smoother and that makes for a far better finish . I personally don't like the box idea diorama but what you put in them is very interesting. Please keep posting your work as I think it's fresh and you have some great ideas. I would like if you could do a sub full length with half of it out of the water in 1/30 or 1/32 scale. Chris.:salute::

Thanks Chris....I did toss up doing a full length 1/35 scale but it would be about approx 3 and a 1/2 foot long, maybe more and I would lose interest very quietly, like I did with the Conning tower.......the idea is interesting though......just had a thought.....there is a quicker ...cheaper way it could be done......flour and salt mix....the visable part of the hull out of water is pretty straight forward...a couple of lbs of salt and flour would do that...the conning tower etc could be done with a combination of sculpey and the salt and flour mix....I will have the two young grand kids staying here over the Xmas holidays ( the younger one's...the over 21 yrs old.... ones ...hardly ever see them now) for at least a week...they will be happy to give a hand mucking around mixing and shaping...keep 'em busy for awhile.....will see what happens....aint gonna promise anything...regards TomB
