Once again thank you for your appreciation of this "Church" dio and its many historical applications. Here is one more...
A shell-damaged Church somewhere in Normandy provides temporary refuge for some wounded GI's waiting to be evacuated away from the front line and back to the beach and, perhaps, a nice, clean, safe, hospital in Southern England.
Sometimes it's only when I put together a little scene like this that I remember just how many wounded GI's, jeeps, and assorted ambulance vehicles K&C has produced over the years... Long may it continue!
