This is my finished version ( fitted for an earlier time period ) of the San Pablo. It is nowhere as finished as K/C's model, but for under $75 ,it becomes a nice backdrop for soldiers. The ship is about 26" long and 5" wide..It seems to me ,that a reasonable K/C ship, with dummied down details ( not as elaborate as the show display )could probably be mfg. from wood by the Chinese for the price of a warbird. We have all seen on ebay and other sites, highly detailed sailing ships and the like, for under $600..As I am an avid ship lover, I cannot believe a K/C mfg. ship for a couple thousand bucks, would sell ,because of the limited time period and subject matter ,wrapped around some 20 sailors and marines...Michael

Nice craftsmanship on making this gunboat Michael. I enjoy viewing these pictures and you have one of a kind model without spending thousands of dollars. John
