Hi

I am thinking of going to the exhibition in October 2010 in Birmingham in England to sell a bit of K & C stuff. Anyone go last year? What was it like, many stands and many visitors?

Thanks

Well there is quite a few tables and sellers, but not nearly the size of the London show, but pretty good nonetheless. K&C and Figarti both had excellent layouts last year and I came away with a second K&C Landing craft and a Figarti Bulldozer. Plenty of parking and a cafe if I remember rightly, all in all a pretty good day out.

Sounds good

We will be attending the Birmingham show this coming Sunday(31/10/2010) but due to limited space cannot carry everything we sell so if there is a particular item you would like to see/purchase please inform us by Saturday evening.
Will have the new WW1 plane from John Jenkins and his first tank from the SCW.
Also the latest releases from FL and CS.
Please check out our new website www.tmterrain.co.uk for further details etc.
Mark & David.

Can not find any information on this show (other than location)

Does anyone know what time kick off is?

Cheers

Gazza

Hi chaps

Yep, the show is a good one all in all. Mark, you will definitely be seeing me there this year - and I will be spending a small fortune, as you know ;)

If you've got the two Teutonic Crusaders from FL, could you bring them along so I can have an ogle?

If anyone else here fancies hooking up and having a chat over a coffee, it might be nice to put some faces to names so to speak - if you see someone walking around in an oakleaf parka and a loud pair of boots, that'll be yours truly

See you there

Just read this post having gone to the Bham show this morning.
I now realise it was you by the TM terrain stand looking at FL crusaders. We were both talking to David about why the Stalingrad figures are so small compared to FL's other ranges especially the new Crusaders.
By the way it was hard not to pick u out in that bright SS camo parka! :)

James,
Sorry mate, I missed you due to getting lost around Birmingham city centre and didn't get in till a bit later. Should be no such issues in London
Simon

Hi Eazy

Good to see you there, even if at the time I didn't know who I was 'seeing'

The more I see of FL the more I like it. The Crusaders are certainly more like 60mm figures, more like K+C proportions wise. I'm just wondering whether that was deliberate so they would go nicely side by side with the K+C Crusader figures - mind you the painting style is very different, and not that compatible IMHO

Got to talk the wife into coming with me to the London show now - wish me luck :p

Hey Simon- sorry I missed you but well catch up in London as usual.
I enjoyed the Bham show - my best purchase was the Wss 37 Krupp truck that I found tucked away on a little stall. I overspent and bought it for £150 which was good in the scheme of thing especially as it's a piece I've wanted for a long time. It's a cracking set and a real classic. But buying it meant I couldn't afford much else!

You betcha on London.
Sounds like a pretty reasonable deal for that piece - good spot! Always good to get the pieces you've been hankering after for the longest.
