Whilst you may think this would be about the RAF, it is in fact about the many vital jobs carried out by civilians during the Battle of Britain and the Blitz that followed. Its shown on the Yesterday channel and is highly recommended. So far we've had episodes showing the heroic work carried out by women in the Aircraft factories, Land Girls and the latest was the men who worked on the Railways (which of course were prime targets for the Luftwaffe). Packed with dramatic and moving testaments of those who did these jobs and lots of excellent and quite rare film, the latest on the Railways featured British Tanks on Trains , ammunition dumps etc, I even spotted the ever present 'Tilly' in one scene, well worth seeing if you get chance chaps.

I saw that and it was really interesting it was on when the BOB stuff was on also and there is one in a similar format about the Beven boys which was as good
