Way to sad Wayne. Something about animals always pulls the heart strings. Maybe because I owned a horse for 26 years and had to put him down on Christmas Day 6 years ago. Robin.

Sorry to make you feel sad Robin, was just thinking about a subject when my red dog Lucy gave me a soft whoof and a lick and I thought about the bond I have and had with my dogs which in the end inspired the image....

Very sad scene . I read somewhere that in the 1st WW about 8 million horses and donkeys died (most of them because of the conditions they had to work in)
