Union Artillery "Make Ready "# 31097 question (1 Viewer)

I just acquired Union Artillery set "Loading Canister" #31056.

I noticed it has a sponge rod (?) (but no bucket )hanging on the under carriage of the gun.

I looked at my set "Make Ready " # 31097 and there is a bucket hanging on the undercarriage of the gun but no sponge rod .It looks like the paint is chipped on the undercarriage where the sponge rod would be attached . Any stock pictures I looked at shows the sponge rod . I got this set for Christmas and just noticed it now .

Does anyone have this set without the sponge rod ?

A new gun is on the way from W Britains . I was attempting to verify that the rod was missing before contacting WB.
Richard has proactively offered to replace the gun .
WB have the best figures and the best customer service (IMO)
