Unique, one-of-a-kind, scratch built, Country Road Diorama 1/32 1/35 54mm approx. 12" (30.48 cm) x 10" (25.4 cm) including frame. Asking $85 plus shipping, but I will entertain reasonable offers.

Absolutely UNIQUE: This is the only one of its kind. Even if there are similar themes, this diorama is completely scratch built. From the individually draped power lines – right down to the “champagne” and other “drink bottles” made from plastic sprue , (the champagne bottles might be as much as ½ an inch {1.27 cm} long and those are 'for real' pasted labels on all those tiny bottles!) – Even the dirty towels at the dried up wash bucket were “hand laundered” for this scene. You can actually see individual “blades of straw” in the “crate bedding”. This is classic diorama construction in the tradition of the greats like Sheperd Paine. I spent a lot of time, as a kid, with Paine's tips on building dioramas which were included with the old Monogram Armor kits of the '70s.
It's been a long time since I've posted here. The economic slump, cost of materials, the US Postal cancellation of international surface shipping...etc.
Anyway, having pretty much left eBay {sm4}, except for the occasional "oddball" listing, I thought I'd give it another go via Etsy and other sources. Still, it's the same quality product, superb detail and excellent personal service people have come to expect from me over the years.
More in process including an approx. 11x14" display area bridge and small river diorama.
Thanks for lookin', mm2k3
