Hello all,
On April 22, 2015 the Treefrog Forum will celebrate its 10th Anniversary.
We think this is cause for a celebration!
While we already a few things planned, we'd love to hear some great ideas from forum members on how to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Fire away! :salute::

Congratulations Peter & Shannon, where did that decade go. A lot has transpired in the Toy Soldier world over the last ten years and this remains the best forum to capture and assess all that information, coupled with a great member community. For me, please do it all over again for the next ten years.:salute::Robin.

A recognition of the moderators. Sometimes it gets lost that these are toy soldiers and a hobby for enjoyment and I credit the moderators with keeping the emotions in check. :)

Hard to believe it's been 10 years. I must be one of the originals, I joined in August 2005. I feel old.

Hard to believe I've been here 7 years.Where does the time go.

Thank you for this forum. It has been an invaluable part of my engagement with the hobby. Over the years I have even found it possible to forgive those involved in awarding me my one infraction{sm4} I was secretly pleased though. I rang up the guys I was an altar server with all those years ago and told them I had become a bit of a rebel!

Indeed an impressive milestone, reaching the 10th anniversary.

It was in early 2007 when I joined and ever since I can't let go from it :redface2: :smile2:
A wonderful platform for interested people from around the globe, to exchange news, gossip, photos, dioramas, collections, just anything Toy Soldiers. You name it, and you will most likely find it here.

As of celebrating it, I like Brad's "theBaron" idea. With beer!
Everyone should fill a decent sized glass with this delicious liquid and then pose for a "Happy 10th Treefrog Forum Anniversary" photo and post it :wink2:
That way we get to see the members, and also find out what kind of beer they like ^&grin

Congratulations and a big Thank You to Shannon and Pete for setting up this forum and keeping it going.
Both of you can rest assured, that you have an appreciative worldwide audience {bravo}}

And, like "Andanna" said, a big "shout out" to the moderators, who are invaluable by keeping this place a friendly and unique location on the WWW, where you want to come back to, again and again.

Cheers!

Konrad

Thanks for the kind words and great ideas guys. We're hoping to make it a fun time for everyone. Keep those ideas coming!

Many thanks for this great forum and congratulations are in order. 10 years! Always full of activity! My hobby life wouldn't have been the same without this forum.

Cheers,
Paulo

PS
On ideas, some kind of contest with free figures for the winner?:p

As very much a "new boy on the block" I must say I find this forum a trove of information, stimulation and vast interest and I for one wil raise a glass of very cold Bintang beer on the said day..here in Bali..!!

I've really enjoyed the forum over the past few years, the comradery among the members, and the fantastic dioramas that many share.

Thank you for the best Toy Soldier forum on the web!

I'm proud to have been a part of this forum for 9 of the 10 years it has been in existence!! As others have said, it's been a great source of news, ideas, information and for meeting other collectors!

As for ideas..........

How about doing some sort of top 10 stuff? Like the first 10 original members..........The top 10 members with most posts............the top 10 posts with the most "likes"......and so on.

Hey Shannon,
Congratulations to you and Pete for a very memorable 10 years. I can remember some great highs and some real lows. I was thinking that as you usually have a Forum members get together during the day at the Chicago show, maybe this year you could have a bigger event such as a Dinner one night. I know it is about 5 months after the anniversary date but where else would get so many Forum members from around the world in one place at the one time. Maybe some guest speakers from some of the orginal members. eg Brad (jazzem) Rob, Louis, etc. ^&grin Sorry I don't know them all. Also it would be a time to pay respects to passed members. eg My very good mate, Lawrence Lo (RIP)
Just some thoughts for you and Pete to ponder. Once again congrats.
Cheers from the Land Downunder, Howard
