Upcoming Retirements??? (1 Viewer)

I think we will see some crusaders retired and probably some of wwii that have been out 3yrs or more.i.e. Some bulge sets and desert war sets. As for something unsuspecting to be retired in wwii, how about those excellent cossacks. I am sure there would be a run on them. Also some napoleonics might go away to make room for some more.

Simply put: We have no control over retirements by K/C ...I think it would be a mistake for them to retired the King Tiger....I do not collect CS but they have been providing a product that is at least compatible with K/C in size and style for those guys who may miss out on a K/C retired item....Whatever is being retired it will eventualy need to be replaced either by K/C or by someone....I don't think that we will see the last of 1:30 scale King Tiger Tanks either by K/C or another manufacturer...PS....I would rate K/C's King Tiger slightly better that the CS product....but the CS product is not all that bad....

This is true, the KT is such a famous and popular AFV that companies are sure to continue making them in the future. As there are only two of the main producers making them I'm sure at some point the other major producer will also join in

I would have to guess there will be quite a few retirements. That seems to be the plan.

I'm sure this is correct, but next week Dispatches will tell us all what the plans are.... but keep you credit card out, as I'm sure it will be put to good use :)

Yesterday I stopped myself from buying the new Napoleon in Egypt releases because I didn't want to commit $ until I see what's about to be retired. I hope not too many of the crusaders are retired next month.

Among other purchases yesterday, I finally got the WS121 halftrack which was retired earlier this month. What an amazing vehicle. I can't believe it took me so long to get. K&C can repalce this vehicle with a new version anytime and the sooner the better!

A few more days and many of us will be reacting to the latest releases and retirements. Anticipation is great !!!! ^&grin
