They are terrific figures. The soldier wielding the .45 Auto is Alvin York. What a great set to introduce us to the Doughboys. -- Al

Yes, more to come Rob over the coming months , a lot of different ww1 soldiers from different nationalities and some cavalry .Soldiers that will cover the whole of the war from 1914 till 1918, you will see many different uniforms, very colourful ones at the beginning of the war !!!! ( can't say more than that for the moment)

Thanks Guy, very kind of you. Spoke to Tom yesterday and WW1 looks like it's going to be one of the very best ranges they make. I have their WW2 German FJ's and they are fantastic, but when I think of what's coming for WW1......lets just say I'm very excited:wink2:

Best

I don't want to sound gory but the American wounded figure looks really good indeed, as of course do all the others. So pleased TG are joining the other companies making WW1.

I don't want to sound too negative as the sculpting looks good, but I hope there is some color correction when the production figures come out. The uniforms are much too green, unless one is depicting Marines earlier in 1918 (and their uniforms were a different cut). They should be basically the same color as the web gear and putties. Also, the Springfield rifles are painted like they don't have wooden handguards over the barrels. For that matter, most of the figures are armed with the wrong rifle. While York himself may or may not have been carrying a M1903 Springfield during the action west of Chatel Chehery (this is disputed and there will probably never be a clear answer), it is pretty well established that the rest of the unit was armed with the M1917 Enfield.
