Yesterday I received ACWM-02, ACWM-03(N), & ACWM-04. These were released in 2016 and are getting scarce especially ACWM-03. With my life long interest in anything ACW and after serving in the Marines Corps I am surprised that I haven't collected these before now. There was a battalion of Marines at the first battle of Bull Run on July 21, 1861. They were brigaded with the 1st Minnesota and the 11th New York Fire Zouaves in an ill fated assault on Henry Hill in the early afternoon. Unfortunately for them they went up against Stonewall Jackson's Brigade. The Marines were wearing white trousers (summer dress) and not blue. I am considering a repaint. Here is a photo of them placed on the diorama board I have been developing to represent the action on Henry Hill.

Saw this on the JJD Facebook page... It’s a beautiful photo! If you did a version in black and white, it would look even more realistic 😎

Thank you very much for the kind review. It's great that you are also a member of the JJD Collector's group on Facebook.
