Hi Andy

Assuming the line has legs and if not already in the pipeline, I'd like to suggest a Corpsman attending to a wounded Marine and also a Corpsman rushing to a wounded Marine.

Steve

Like to add a M1919A tripod mounted with crew, another with crew running carrying it and a Marine crouched with ammo boxes.

Wonderful suggestions, Steve.
Given the number of USMC WWII Pacific photographs available for view the possibilities are endless.

How about a Alexander Bonnyman and/or a William Hawkins figure? Also like to see a machine gun team and a Browning M1917A1, maybe Al Schmid from Guadalcanal. I know he is from an earlier period but it would still be a neat set. -- Al

Cheers Larry, hope Andy thinks same !
I pretty sure I read somewhere that Marine Rifle squads had two BAR's so I guess we'll be seeing those too somewhere along the line !{sm4}

Marine rifle squad consists of 13 men, squad leader (usually a Sgt.) and three four man fire teams. There is a fire team leader in each four man team Each team has the fire team leader, automatic weapon man and two riflemen. J

Even more BAR's then ! :salute::

How about the three main role players of HBO miniserie The Pacific, John Basilone, Eugene Sledge (Sledgehammeren) Robert Bob Leckie.

I'll <second> and <third> that proposition. Another great movie tie-in to along with the Pacific WWII theme.

Basilone and Leckie with the 30. machine gun, i think Basilone with the M1917 model and Leckie with the M1919. Sledge with a mortar!

Don't forget "SNAFU" Shelton ... AND "Chesty" Puller ... AND "Gunny" Haney (The Old Breed) ... AND "LT. Stone" .... AND ... many more

Like K&C "Searching for Private Ryan" series ... it would be an easy set of 6 to 8 characters!!!

My blood pressure just shot up 25 points {sm3}!

Thanks Guys for a ton of great suggestions...While I cannot promise you every single one...I can confirm that some of those mentioned are already in development!
All of us at K&C appreciate your enthusiasm and involvement in all our series but especially so in this latest USMC range...You keep 'em coming...and we will too!!!
Best wishes and greetings from Singapore...Our Annual K&C Event begins here in a few hours time...Full House I am happy to say.
Semper Fi, Andy.

William Hawkins is a great idea!

Hi Andy

I like to see a couple of Marines in a crouching positions like JN037 that would have multi uses, without a base that could be used for Jumping out of an Amtrac, clambering over the Sea Wall, being wounded, assaulting a Bunker etc

Also I'd like to see USMC 08 pose in this Tarawa line as well, would be a useful figure.

Regards
Steve

Evening Steve ... well here in Maine.

If you take a look at the K&C US Air Force sets ... see set AF035 .... the two US Marines.

You will see that they are fairly close to the older K&C USMC sets USMC02 and USMC08.
