any chance anybody got a close up pic of the figures that go with the extension ramp...Ukbod and wraith had some great photo's of the show but did not see a close up of this set posted:)

Yes, I would like to have a look at that too.

Did I notice a color difference between the ramp and the extension?

Guys

I managed to get a couple of shots that might help.

RH,

I didn't see any figures that went with the extension ramp. Clive or Rick may be able to confirm.

is there a reason why the colors are so different between the first piece and the extension?

I think Clive said this was the only one, a protoype, so I would guess that they'd colour match them more closely for the production runs.

Thanks for the feedback.

I just hope it integrates well, since I already have the first part...

Thanks Reb

The two guys in the white trousers definetly look like they are new figures and I suspect the other two guys are as well:cool:

Hi Guys
The set comes with the four man ground crew as per the picture alongwith the 2 spare engines and the extension ramp.
We had a spotlamp which refelected down on the extension but not the original launch ramp which probably accounts for the perceived difference in colour.
It matched up very well in reality.
The one pictured is not a prototype this is in full production, I had this one specially shipped for the show and my stock is on its way, some via airfreight, the balance via sea freight (3 days and 6 weeks repectively) I'll post more photos when I've checked out my camera.
(Been a bit busy since we got back mailing orders)

Hope this helps.
Clive

The picture of the launch ramp seem to show that it is to short. There should be two operational choices, a five segment type or a seven segment type

The ramp piece that came with the V-1 is one segment. I think it wouldn't be to much trouble for Figarti to offer the additional four segment to get it right

colors,

so strange that the cubes on the side are almost black in the extension, but not at all the same color in the first part

Your quest for historical accuracy is admirable but Figarti probably did not think there was enough of a market for that long of a ramp. In my opinion it's already long enough as is in terms of what is realistic as a collectible, and I'll have trouble finding room to display it all.

I agree the colour discrepancy is off-putting. It’s only been a year since the first piece was produced, surely they could match them up close to perfectly.

Hi JPB
I see what you mean re the ramp rails at the top. I have to say I didn't notice on the day.
I'll have to do further work as the display model was sold at the show so I can't compare.
Keep you all posted.
Regards

Thanks, hope you get it fixed...

I've heard back from the factory. They assure me that the extension ramps are consistant with the original launch ramp colour wise.
I can only assume that as I pre-empted the formal release for the Dec Show model that it may have been taken out of the normal run.
I should be receiving an air freight portion in the next week so will post appropriate photos when received.

Great, that for the feedback.

Looking forward to receive my V1 ramp extension

Dear All,

The V1 extension ramp has left Shanghai last week. Sorry for the delay, I hope those of you who ordered on from your favorite dealer will like it, it really makes the V1 set look come alive.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Super! Thanks for the info Rick.

Now I only hope the paint schema is updated and matches the first part.

Seasonal greetings
