What would be the next vehicle that Figurati will release in the V2 line?

JP

The obvious NEXT vehicle to me would be the Meillerwagen (Miller Wagon/Trailer) that was used to transport the V2 rocket over short distances. This trailer was usually towed by the Hanomag SS100 halftrack. The V2 Rocket was raised upright from the Meillerwagen with ropes and pulleys and an overhead gantry onto the mobile launching platform.

I don't yet have the V2 but it seems one downside with the V2 model is the size of it in its vertical position. And I guess it may not be all that stable when upright either and a kiddie caused bump to your display cabinet could see it crash to the floor.

The trailer would provide an option for collectors that don't want to tempt fate. So let's all campaign for the Meillerwagen to help save our (hobby) environment :D

And THEN we would need the Hanomag SS100 Halftrack to tow it ;) :D

MY stock on the new V2's, launch pads, inspection sets by two and officer with dog arrived today, beautiful stuff..............

Because I am the closest dealer to the Figarti US distributor, all other dealers will be getting their stock either today or next Monday (with Friday being a holiday)..........I'll be sold out by then..............:p

Sierra has it listed as July/August release. TF has it listed for June. So hopefully soon?

Well Combat, I said I would tell you when they got here but Warrior beat me to it :)

I have mine in hand and I like it much more than the first one. It seems better detailed and painted, if thats possible.

When I opened the box and saw it laying on its side it really grabs you. I mean for some reason it just looks good that way,on its side. Its shape really stands out in this painted version. Yeh...it definitely looks better :)

Figarti sure has come a long way!
I look forward to their stuff, especially the 1-30th as much as I do K&C.

Boy, the for " some reason " is because the first V-2's camo is to break up the Rockets profile, features and this one does that well.

This new one " Stands Out " because thats why its painted black & white,

Dah......

yo CS,

may i ask you a question?

where do you display the V2 sets?

i have my black/white V2, with the extra figures on the way, and i haven't even had space for my v1 yet

and to top it all, i haven't think of a convincing reason to my family yet !

i think i'm on for an earful this time round! :(

CS,

I like that overhead shot, though its a bit blury. That would look awesome on a big dio base with the launch vehicle and surrounding trees.

I actually don't mind the V2s for space reasons - their "footprint" on a table top is actually pretty small, not much bigger than a tank. It's all in the vertical height they take up, which isn't a problem in my basement. I agree, the V1 with the launch ramp takes up a lot of space, especially if you add the ramp extension that's coming out.

Right now I just have my V1 and V2s set up on a big table in my basement along with some of the big items from my 1/6th collection. The V2s aren't really displayed as such yet - the figures are kind of just mingling around. Eventually I will set up a proper base for them.
