Valley forge show (1 Viewer)

I picked up some John Jenkins figures (I think I got the last of George's BM-04) and some KC WWI figures. Also one Russian figure - Louis IX (St. Louis) which put a dent into buying much else.

Pat-
I also saw the mounted "Vlad Dracula" and was real close to buying it, but the Jenkins figures are killing me as they keep disappearing from the market. It is a great figure though and maybe someday before it sells out...

Hi Combat,

I'm glad you looked at the "Vlad Dracula" figure up close. I think it is a great figure. Did you see the Grand Carousel figures? In my opinion, the Grand Carousel figures are remarkable. I know they have a new Grand Carousel figure scheduled for release some time this month. I have reserved money to purchase this new figure. I have seen pictures of their prototype and it will be spectacular!

Did you get a chance to visit with Glenn and Judy while you examined the Vlad figure? They are great people who clearly enjoy life to the fullest. They are really fun people to get to know.

I hope you find a way to get that Vlad figure before they sell out. I think you would enjoy adding it to your collection.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I understand that this was the last year for the show at the Valley Forge location. Apparently it will be held in Delaware in the future.

That is what someone else mentioned to me. May have been Michael. Delaware is just too far to go so that if Hackensack has a show next year in May, I'll go to that instead.

Not Camp Randall....there are no markings to indicate maker, but I will keep digging.....Michael

It isn't Toy Army Workshop. Thier vehicles are pretty distinctive - kind of like the stuff that Biggs never got around to making and bit more refined from there.

Is that a Trophy boat you've got there? Those are great.

I did not think it toy army, because there was no Petitt mark underneath, which is usual for them. Could it be Steadfast? I am curious. It is too well made to be someones private casting.......Also check the modeling thread, it is a gunboat I made from wood...am waiting on Dorset sailors and armaments. Michael
