It seems that First Legion's Russian WW II figures don't receive a lot of attention because Germans always seem to garner more attention. This is a shame because the Russian figures are terrific models with a lot of action.

One such figure is Vasily Zaitsev, RUSSTAL 015, one of the USSR's top snipers and a Hero of the Soviet Union, who was immortalized in Enemy at the Gates.

I was always impressed how fl evening paints the finger nails. Now that is detail!
 
One thing I've noticed about First Legion is that when you magnify the figures, they appear even better. I can't say that about every other company's figures.
 
That is very true. Even with a digital photo the figures still look outstanding.
 
I have that figure too and i'm planning to buy some diorama (there is just the right one from MiniArt) to put Zaitsev in..
