Colonial Militia (and some French from the F&I War but shhhhh....) tangle with British regulars at the Vauxhall Road, part of the larger Battle of Springfield, New Jersey on the 23rd of June 1780.

We're a bit short on anything related to the American Revolution so JJD's 'Drums along the Mohawk' series came in the nick of time!

Enjoy :salute::

Sigmund, I always enjoy your pics and what we see above is no different in that regard. Your images have a nice cinematic quality to them and are, likewise, very believable.:salute::

Ironic that you post a dio of a not very well known battle that I just read about yesterday. Very nice scene. Chris

Of course, his new series on the Battle of Saratoga will relieve that problem very soon. ;)

Prost!

A wonderful blend and mix of figures to show a dramatic scene. The Drums Along the Mohawk sets will definitely help fill in my poorly outfitted Colonial Militia for the K&C AWI sets.

AS Chris stated .. "a nice cinematic quality to them and are, likewise, very believable." I heartily second that comment.

Superb scene! Hope you can do more of them once JJ releases those AWI sets we're expecting.

Love your layout and the story told.

Ironically I have plans to do an obscure battle from NJ too once I amass many of those upcoming JJ AWI figures.
