Hi Guys

Thought you might like to have a look at this. A few months ago I asked David if he would build me a facade of a Victoria Military stables, I had a few ideas but took the main design from some Harry Payne postcards I had in my collection and I think David has captured the look extremely well, needless to say I am well pleased.

It looks lovely John, but too clean you need a nice big dung pile in the corner!^&grin Honestly though I realy like how he's made the stable drainage etc.

Sure another masterpiece by Dave {bravo}}
I must say, the diorama pieces we got to see lately by TM Terrain are really state of the art, and this one is no exception.
Congratulations, John, to this beautiful addition to your collection.
It looks superb.

Nice one John. That's a beautifully crafted piece, as we've come to expect from David.

Absolutely beautiful looking stables, love the old cobblestone look to them, but then again every time David does a dio/buildings or such he does some awesome work...Sammy

Hi Guys

Thanks for the great comments but the credit is all Davids for creating this superb model for me.

The roof of the stables is superb. How was it constructed? What material?

Thanks.

Pretty nifty Maxim too John - from Brian at Yeomanary Miniatures I think. I'm currently having a bash at one too - though as 2nd Lifeguards. The backdrop really sets them off. Very nicely done indeed. jb

Hi

The whole stables was made for me by David at TM Terrain so Im not too sure of the construction process but I know the roof tiles are made from card. The basis for the building is MDF (I think) with a covering (walls and yard floor ) with expanded poly again I think so. If you contact David at TM terrain or look at his website and blog you will see how he constructs some of his buildings. Needless to say I am very pleased with it.

Regards John
